Action Home Access.com (AHA), with the help of our supporters, is proud of the work we have completed for a large number of seniors, individuals with physical disabilities and families we have assisted since 2003. Please visit our “Photo Gallery” at Action Home Access.com for specific project photos. AHA continues to provide free estimates, offering design options and completing projects at the lowest possible cost.
The Cost of "Accessible"
Americans generally would prefer growing old in their own homes. Yet many of those homes are ill-suited to the disabilities that can accompany old age. While the prospect of renovating to accommodate age-related or other disabilities may seem daunting, experts say there are ways to keep costs down, including potential federal tax deductions and assistance from nonprofit and government groups.

Action Home Access.com continues to install a number of grab bars and safety assist handles in bathrooms, handrails at stairs and build custom made access ramps. Furthermore, we receive calls almost daily for portable ramps, ramp rentals, handyman jobs related to Home Access! We continue to design and make our "Threshold Ramps" and are using fewer aluminum-prefabricated ramps. The Custom Threshold Ramps are designed to fit in the desired location…a safer and more cost effective application. AHA also installs Stair Lifts for access to 2nd story homes.
In many cases, insurance companies do not pay the expenses for services we provide our clients. Seniors in need are currently on a waiting list until corporations, agencies or philanthropists can help with funding to provide access in their homes. With your generous donations/grants, to help overhead costs the actual installation costs stay lower and more people may be assisted. To those who have contributed to Action Home Access.com, your generous donations have helped with affordability so that more people can be served. Without you, our work would not be possible. Our sincere appreciation reaches out to all our supporters that have a compassionate interest in the San Diego community, Thank you!
